Okay, it was now on 13.03. still snow in the first half of the valley. And my rear tire has turned my fluorescent windbreaker into a camouflage jacket. It is a very stony valley, and between rock formations, it goes down pretty steeply. And for a moment I remembered a movie in which a stone-age inbred family with bow and arrow hunts for tourists to eat afterwards for a BBQ. So adventurous was this valley to drive through. Do I have to do it again in summer? Once at the bottom, it is only 3-5 minutes to the Upper Rye Mill, where there is also a beer and something to eat.
