The Driehauser stones are station 3a of the cycle route of the megalithic culture. All wall and capstones have remained on site; the wall stones are even prioritized in their place of origin, while the eleven ceiling stones have fallen into the chamber. Shallow holes can be seen in the ceiling stones, which are called 'bowls' and are probably to be found in many places in Europe and are said to have originated in the late Neolithic or Bronze Age. There are many imaginative interpretation models for the purpose of drilling, but none has been scientifically proven. The stones are in the middle of an agricultural area; a short, narrow dirt road leads there from the road. Here, too, stately trees have settled in the chamber; the trunks 'encase' the huge stones.
