why the place was named as a break-off edge? especially since at this point, incidentally one of the few accessible places on the southern gravel pit, it slopes gently towards the water. I would rather call the area near the Steinfelder Zolln the break-off edge. Because here there is actually a steep wall, i.e. a drop-off edge.
