Butterfly Walk Kattenbos

The pine forests you cross here are transformed into more natural, mixed deciduous forests and tree heaths. You walk along a beautiful heath reserve where you can even see a few juniper bushes. Along the way you will discover landscape spots that let you explore the landscape in a different way.

From egg to caterpillar, from caterpillar to pupa, from pupa to butterfly: through this walk children learn about the developmental stages of the butterfly through play. The fairytale-like play and experience elements by artist Will Beckers that you encounter along the way, are accompanied by an educational explanation and assignments for children.

Since Flanders would like to develop into the land of butterflies, everything to do with butterflies is supported. The type of presentation is achieved artistically and is sometimes very instructive.
