Tips
The Grosmolen is a seesaw mill near Hoogmade. The mill on the Doespolderweg was built in 1640 for the drainage of the Voorofse- or Grospolder, to replace a seesaw mill that had blown over. The Grosmolen was in operation until 1956. The mill is capable of grinding, but due to the lowered water level in the polder, the paddle wheel has become too high to be effective.
