Tips
The church tower is 77.5 meters high and can therefore be seen far into the country. It always triggers a feeling of home in the "Rhedensers", as the native Rhede residents call themselves, when they see the tower from a distance.
My father is from Rheden and he lived right in the center of Rhede at the time. As children, they were always allowed to go far away from home and play as long as they could still see the church tower and that was quite a long way.translated by
