On the west bank of the Aasee there is the boat dock and the Jonas, on the east bank there is a small bird sanctuary and the surfer's bay, on the south bank there is the bathing bay and the Ottilie beach café and on the north bank there is an island and a large playground.
There is a footpath and a separate cycle path around the entire lake.
It is wonderful to walk around the lake, but on weekends, when the weather is nice, it can get crowded.
