The perfect place to relax and take a cold (foot) bath. The small lake lies towards the end of the second stage of the Berlin Höhenweg and offers on its banks not only soft, comfortable grassy mats, which invite you to linger, but also a beautiful summit panorama on the opposite mountains. The water is freezing cold, crystal clear and a welcome cooling off on hot summer days.

After a long march on the Berlin mountain trail coming from the Gamshütte the appearance of the lake is eagerly awaited, as it is an indicator that it is not too far to the Friesenberghaus. But he is well hidden in a depression - so it is, until you finally get to see him. For that he invites all the more for a rest to collect energy reserves for the last 1 1/2 km :-)
