Welcome to the smallest kingdom of Romkerhalle. A frog prince sits at the foot of the waterfall and lets himself be sprayed by it. He has been waiting for the redeeming kiss for a long time.
Is there still a real princess looking for her prince charming?

If you want to see the waterfall from above, you should take the right path. There you can reach the top very relaxed. On the left side of the waterfall is a sign "steep path", because the small sentence is missing, just for life tired. Am the way up in the wet with my little daughter. Actually wanted to turn back from half, but by the wet the accident would be inevitable. Eyes closed, but not recommended.

Even if the waterfall is artificial, it is still something for the eye.
You can eat on account in the restaurant opposite

Nice waterfall, the highest in the Harz. Created by artificial diversion of the romke. In winter it is really great for ice climbing, as several difficulty levels of the WI scale are possible. Downstairs there is a restaurant. Around the waterfall short nice walks or small hikes possible. Easy ways to commit.

Beautiful artificial waterfall of impressive height (in the Harz). Looks great even in winter and is good for ice climbing. Downstairs there is an economy and a parking lot. In the vicinity of the waterfall there are beautiful walks.

The water of Little Romker plunges down to the main road. The waterfall was created artificially and dates back to the 1860s!

Placed head back, I recognize the edge on which the water plunges into the depths. In countless small water pearls, it is disturbed and later reunites into a stream.
With a bit of climbing experience, the hiker can also go up in the direct Auftieg next to the waterfall. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are absolutely necessary.

Impressive is the waterfall when enough precipitation has fallen.

Depending on the season, the waterfall leads more or less water.
For me something inappropriate a frog prince, who disturbs the beautiful picture a bit.

Somehow waterfalls attract ....... Also interesting to look at from above, if not spectacular. It is impressive how the water falls from a great height. Something bothers me personally the situation directly on the street. This prevents you from lingering here and looking, since the cars don't pass 2 meters behind you.

Highest artificial waterfall in the Harz. Many short hikes or walks on easy trails possible. Ideal for ice climbing in winter. There is a restaurant and parking at the bottom of the waterfall.

Nice starting point, but the exciting places are still up the mountain and have to be earned first. :-)
