The first parish church in Hasselbach burned down on October 22, 1749. The current church was rebuilt between 1751 and 1752. The inauguration took place on July 13, 1752. The Hasselbacher Gotteshaus is a baroque church from west to east with a retracted choir, hollow vault and tower in the west. The figural equipment comes from the Hadamar sculpture school, the organ from the workshop of the Stumm brothers. At the moment the top of the approx. 36 m high tower is about 40 cm from the plumb line.
The patron saint of the church and the parish is St. Margaretha.

Beautiful church in the village center. A visit inside is worthwhile.
