In memory of the former dance café Hohenzollern, then Café Fledermaus now Café Central to the years from 1891 to 1990. The fountain was inaugurated in 2012. A nice interesting object.

The Dancer is a sculpture fountain that has adorned the small square at the junction of Salomonstrasse and Berliner Strasse since September 21, 2012.
The fountain depicts an upright woman, her head and left arm gracefully turned upwards, her head tilted to the side, and a child playing with water sitting beside her. Both figures are cast in bronze.
At the edge of the fountain is a bronze dedication reading, among other things, "In memory of the former Tanzcafé Hohenzollern, Café Fledermaus, Café Central from 1891 to 1990 at Berliner Strasse 51."
