The old church, about which little is known, was demolished due to the risk of collapse. The stones for the new building were extracted from the region. On November 14, 1864, the pastor Edmund Göring inaugurated the church with the words: “May God rule over the building with his grace and grant that a pious family always worship him here, which builds up as the living stones of the spiritual house “Inaugurated (Wikipedia).
