The term "little church" is actually an understatement, as the building, at 1,796 meters, is quite impressive and can be seen from afar. Emperor Franz Joseph had it built for his Queen Elisabeth. The church was completed in 1901, and the star mosaic in the dome is particularly beautiful.

The St. Elizabeth's Church is a beautiful Art Nouveau building located at a panoramic height on the Schneeberg.
Unfortunately, we didn't find it open today. It's been recently renovated.

Unfortunately, work is currently being done on the church, which made it scaffolded (but it does not help, it has to)
