Find that you can spend your time well in and around Carlsbad. There are very nice hiking trails and good bike paths. There are places where you can get good food at a more than fair price. You get big and cheap apartments that are well maintained and well equipped. The city itself is also very nice. Mid-May z. For example, there is a big city festival to open the summer season - it's worth it!
