Sandgrube 13 invites you on a somewhat different journey on the theme of "Fascination with Wine": eight stations will guide you through the history of this noble grape juice and offer you a glimpse behind the scenes. The tour begins in the vineyard. There, in the shade of an original "Hiata" hut, visitors can enjoy a hearty sip of Grüner Veltliner from the sand pit. Here and there, you'll catch glimpses of Göttweig Abbey through the vines and learn how important winemaking is in Krems – and has been for almost 2,000 years.
