Almost a sublime feeling when you cross a limit with one step. Like traders and haulers in the past, the ViaSpluga leads you in their footsteps over the Splügen Pass from Italy to Switzerland and vice versa. Away from the tarred road, you walk up to 2,113 meters, away from any civilization, until you can see the white peaks of the mountains. An absolute highlight: picnic in the middle of the meadow between alpine cows.
