As far as I could research it belongs to Kath. Church in Tann to the parish of St. John the Baptist, Lahrbach in the pastoral network St. Michael Hohe Rhön, of the diocese of Fulda. Tann therefore has no cath. Pastor.

Hiking

The simple baroque plastered building of today's St. Nicholas Church or Niklas Church dates from the 18th century. In 1741, the old half-timbered church, which had fallen into disrepair, was torn down and the current solid building was erected from 1741 to 46. The Niklas Church was a hospital church for a long time. The associated hospital and later poor house is the "Claß" or "Klashaus" which is still preserved today and is located across the street.
