In the Sculpture Park there are some permanent exhibits by Tony Craigg but also changing exhibitions, both in the park, as well as in the 2 exhibition halls. For the Apettit in between there is a small cafe

In the middle of the southern heights of Wuppertal is a particularly artistic site: the Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden. The English sculptor redesigned this 15-hectare park in 2006 artfully. Since then, his own sculptures (19 pieces) and works by other artists have been exhibited here. Sometimes organic, sometimes conspicuous, the sculptures integrate themselves into nature. Another highlight of Parkes is the "Villa Waldfrieden". The memorial house was built in 1945 in the style of organic architecture. Today you can visit the villa as part of special tours.OPENING HOURS

The park of the former Villa Herberts, also known as Villa Waldfrieden, was designed by artist Tony Cragg with world-class sculptures. One of the top destinations in the region.

If you are interested in the interplay of sculptures in nature and in the changing light conditions, you should consider the entry from currently Treat yourself to € 12 at least once. 51 sculptures by Tony Cragg and other artists are on display in the park. To see all of them you should plan about 2 hours.
Changing exhibitions take place in various studios on the site - currently one with works by Joseph Beuss.
Tickets must be reserved online in advance - the exhibition rooms are currently only allowed to be entered with a negative Corona test.

Beautiful sculpture park in pure nature. Extremely challenging for wheelchair users and only possible with a strong companion or (better) motorized, as it is sometimes very steep and with coarse gravel passages. Entrance for wheelchairs at the gate to the right of the entrance pavilion, where tickets are sold. The counter can only be reached via a large staircase, so it's best to call in advance. Once you've overcome the "cliffs", it's still nice. Allow enough time so that you can do everything in peace.
