Cusp line or even tank barriers
With the lined up concrete pillars (sometimes up to 9 tons heavy) one wanted to complicate tank raids on bunker positions during the 2. World war. Individual concrete parts withstand a weight of up to 36 tons.
In St. Arnual run about 700 meters of the cusp line of the west wall. They were created in 1940. Thus they belong to the last, subsequent construction phase of the Western Wall in the second year of the war.
