The Waldwipfelweg Sankt Englmar offers besides the "Wipfel der Gefühle" also the "Haus am Kopf" where everything, including furnishings, is upside down. The operators probably like to have breakfast with a clown. The view over the mountain ranges of the Bavarian Forest, the Danube Valley and the Gäuboden plains from the up to 30m high path made of local larch wood is impressive. There is also a nature trail and in winter a Christmas market.

Opening hours: all year round, April to October 9am to 7pm, November to March 9am to 4pm

    Admission: adults 7,50 €, children (7 to 17 years) 5 €

Great, first the way over the treetops and then the sensory path. Definitely worth a visit with children. One is not only concerned with the recognition of animals, also the optical illusions provide for short

A visit with children is always worthwhile. Well done. Children are explained by the leaves of the associated tree by sign. After the treetops the sensory path is also an attraction and then playground and eat in peace. Successful event 👍

On a walk at a lofty height above the tree tops (barrier-free, up to 30 m high) offers an impressive view over the hills of the Bavarian Forest, the Danube Valley and the plains of Gäuboden.

Absolutely beautiful to look high above the tree tops in the distance. But you should be a bit dizzy. Very educational for children

The Waldwipfelweg is very well built, first with a small tree and later with the nature trail

Walking over the treetops, you get a different view of the forest. Highlight is z. B. the house on the head.

From Waldwipfelweg you have a very nice view. But do not look down if you are not afraid of heights😉

Beautiful large children's playground, but unfortunately too little shade and almost unusable in the heat

The house on the head is really interesting. Although you know where it is up and down, the brain plays a joke on you. Immediately on entering you stagger against the wall and on the stairs, probably everyone is stuck. Just try it, even if it costs a few extra euros.
