The Emmaus Church has forms of classicism and neo-renaissance. The altarpiece is by the painter Osmar Schindler, who created it in 1914. It shows the risen Jesus in conversation with the Emmaus disciples. The organ was built by the Kreutzbach organ building company from Borna. It was redesigned in 1912 according to plans by master organ builder Jahn and extensively restored in 2012.
