Unfortunately I left this part out. I was on my way from Queenstown to Te Anau and I would have liked to take the boat tour on the TSS Earnslaw. But in February, as an individual traveler, you can apparently only take the boat very early in the morning at 7:30 a.m. or in the afternoon from 3 p.m. Midday times are reserved for “package bookers”. I think that's a real shame.
