In July and August 2025, I set out to cycle through the Pyrenees, starting in Bayonne, France, and following the border with Spain. Unfortunately, the weather deteriorated—and so did my health—so I decided to switch to a lower route along the mountains known as the Vélosud. You can also find it here. Just about ten days later, I reached Perpignan on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
