Basically, the wolf resembles a large domestic dog, with the torso being longer and the chest higher but narrower compared to similarly built domestic dogs. Wolves are comparatively slim with long legs. The head is relatively large with a broad forehead, a long muzzle and short, upright ears with dense hair on the inside that point forward. The eyes are set at an angle and are also oriented forward. The bushy tail is about a third of the length of the head and body.

Although the enclosure is clearly visible, it is also very large. Sometimes you need a little patience until you see the animals. If the wolves are in the front area by the rocks, you have a wonderful view of the animals.
