Best Hiking Routes to Gorges du Durnand Waterfalls

Tips

  • Entering the boardwalks of the Gorges du Durnand (or "Durnand Gorge"), you are in another world. A wild world of imposing cliffs and a powerful stream of wild torrent. For one kilometer you follow the wooden footbridge along the vertical wall of stone, through tunnels, over stairs and galleries, and are almost overwhelmed by the forces of nature when the water shoots over 14 steps in the valley of the Dranse.

Opening hours: May 1 to October 31, 9am to 6pm
Admission: adults 8 CHF, children (6 to 15 years) 5 CHF
