Best Hiking Routes to Landgrafenschlucht

Tips

  • The "little brother" of the Dragon Gorge is not quite as narrow, but no less beautiful. Here you hike through a quiet beech forest with impressive rocks on both sides. I recommend sturdy shoes, but the hiking trail is mostly easy to walk. The gorge is particularly beautiful in the spring green or when the autumn leaves change color.

  • The Landgrafenschlucht is a little more lovely than the neighboring Drachenschlucht, but its rock formations and vegetation are no less impressive. A wide, easy-to-walk path winds through it, secured in some places by wooden planks or steps or small bridges.Accessible from the end of May until the first frost.

  • The Landgrafenschlucht is the "little sister" of the Drachenschlucht and definitely worth seeing. If you combine both ravines in a hike, there's a lot to see.
