After many structural changes, the Oslebshausen lock, built in 1908 to 1910, has a chamber length of 249 m. The width of the chamber is 47 m, the opening width of the heads is 35.10 m and the passage width is 33 m. As a rule, ships with a draft of up to 9.45 m can pass through the Oslebshausen lock. After renovation work, which ended in 2001, a total of four Panmax-sized ships (32.30 m wide) can be moored with each flood.
