The Eisenweg leads from its Ostende in Klaffenbach over almost 12 km to its western end in Brünlos. Especially on sunny days it is a wonderful panoramic path, if you want to enjoy wide view, sun and forest at the same time. Large parts of the trail lie in the altitude just over 500 meters.
On one side you look into the Erzgebirge basin and thus over Chemnitz, which is often over 200 meters lower. The view is limited in the north by the Rabensteiner ridge with the Totenstein.
On the other side you look into the valley of the Zwönitz with the places Burkhardtsdorf and Meinersdorf. On this page you can also see on the horizon at 738 meters located Funkturm Geyer and the Auersberg with 1018 meters altitude.

Video about the highlight (section)
Note::
This video does not have to be the full highlight, but can appear in part only briefly in the video.
Trails are deliberately slowed down to minimize vibration on the camera so as to include as much detail as possible in the video. Unfortunately, this is not always possible.
