I thought it was so strange that I could not find anything about a 'Bels line', but I still came across this on stationsweb.nl .: Valkenswaard had a second station, I thought from 1965 to about 1985. In an attempt to get the rail connection from To preserve Belgium, the line was then diverted from the south of Valkenswaard and reconnected to the main line at Geldrop. So it really was a railway in the past.

The cycle path runs over an old railway line. Very straight but not bored by the beautiful surroundings. Please note the path is not lit all day only in the early morning and evening
