Check out the great slippers! There's a super friendly guy here and it makes for a welcome stop as you will probably need water. I completely ran out of liquid at this point of the Atlas Mountain Race, and didn't even bother waiting for sunrise to do the beautiful descent through the canyon.

Handy shop for water and supplies, but after 100 km of heavy cycling in a deserted piece of desert it was quite disappointing that there was no omelette in Afra yet. White bread, canned sardines and possibly jam or chocolate spread from a glass jar is what you can get here, in addition to the regular offer of dry desert cookies and chips.
