Markov Meadow (590 m) is a vast forest clearing north of the summit of Sljeme along the hiking trail 41, formed at the junction of the stream that make up East Bistra. It used to be the turn of the forest railway, which drove under Srnec through the forests of Pronjka and Rakov Leg. Also here, the "charcoal" used to have a charcoal plant and made charcoal from beech wood.
