A lovely gravel climb up the side of the reservoir, never very steep and helps avoid a hellish steep climb on the road. Gravel track is part of the Taff Trail. Stunning views half way up looking back down over the reservoir.

I did this as a descent and it was epic. Perhaps the best section of riding I've ever done... freewheeling at 20mph for 5 miles! Gonna come back for the ascent, which looks long, but not too steep (3 to 4 %) and very rewarding. A fantastic surface.
