Tips
The Danewerk consists of a series of individual walls with a total length of about 30 km and is the largest archaeological monument in Northern Europe. The main sections of the Danewerk form the Krummwall, the main wall, the north wall, the connecting wall or Margaret wall, the semicircular wall of Haithabu, the Kograben and the Ostwall.
