Please check local regulations for: Tafelbergheide
The Tafelberg or Kooltjesberg is a raised hill in the Gooi in the Dutch province of North Holland. [1] The name Kooltjesberg is said to refer to the coal used for the fire that burned as a beacon on the Zuiderzee. The border of the municipalities of Huizen and Blaricum on the eastern edge of the Tafelbergheide runs across the hill. [2] The hill has a height of 36.4 meters above NAP, making it the highest point in the Gooi region. [3] The hill has a prominence of approximately 8 meters. [4] The hill was already visited in the eighteenth century because of the distant view of the Dom Tower, the Great Church of Naarden and Pampus. There is a viewpoint at the top of the hill
