"Dolderles Brünnle" was built to commemorate the siblings Otto and Amalie von Stromer. Otto von Stromer Reichenbach was 1867 until his death the first mayor of the city of Nuremberg and belonged to one of the most important patrician families in the city.

Near the source of Sophia is another, but much smaller, source, the Dolderlesbrunnen (orally of Dolores). The source is about 10m from the path, you can easily walk past it. The inscription commemorates Otto Stromer, First Mayor of Nuremberg from 1867 to 1891, and his sister Amalie.
