The lake is not only great for cycling, but especially for swimming. At Unterbacher See, there are two beach resorts with large lawns and sandy beaches. A bath is located on the north shore and one on the south bank.

Both beach baths are open in the summer from 10 to 20 o'clock. Admission costs 4 euros each for adults, 2.30 euros for adolescents and 1 euro for children.

Hiking

Local recreation area near Düsseldorf, Erkrath and Hilden. Many sports and leisure activities, a long network of hiking and biking trails and a lake with excellent water quality. Swimming, sailing or surfing, everything is possible. Or you can enjoy the beautiful view in one of the restaurants or beach cafés. There is also a high ropes course.
