Cycling

The Upper Verstal Valley is a quiet, beautiful place. Today, the valley is uninhabited.

There used to be two hamlets here, both abandoned long before the Thirty Years' War. The wooden plaques commemorate this. We owe our knowledge of their history and the fate of their people in particular to the Frankenbach Local History and Heritage Society.
