Not far from Pilning and Easter Compton you'll find this glorious bit of bridleway, linking Badger's Lane and Shaymoor Lane alongside the railway line. From the west, at first it's gravelly doubletrack which then turns into a more muddy singletrack trail.

A couple of short sections which are a bit narrow and rough bit don't detract from what is a great section of gravel track.

The muddy section is in the middle, not too long (50-60 metres) and isn't absolutely horrendous even in winter... though definitely having wide tyres and choosing your line are the order of the day!
