Torsholter KirchwegThe Torsholter Kirchweg is a historic path with a length of 3.1 km. It runs from the village community center (Torsholter Hauptstraße 47) through the state forest "Südholt", crosses the former Westerstede-Ocholt railway line and then the path "Auf der Hörn", then along Möhlenbüllen to Westersteder Straße in Fikensolt.The Torsholter Kirchweg has been preserved in all its beauty. If you start your way in Torsholt at the village community center - the former school - you leave the Torsholter Mühle behind you, pass a farmhouse and behind it you come through the meadows over the Gießelhorster Bäke to “Südholt”.
You cross a small bridge, the Fikensolter Furth, and you are on a path that resembles a Sleeping Beauty Path. The path through the “Börns”, a wonderful arcade, begins here.November 3, 2021
