A nice resting place. Lots of space, partly covered. Also suitable for large groups 👌

The rest area not only has a weather stone, but also a small shelter under the trees, as well as a few tables and benches. You have to be careful with the benches, though, as the screws aren't countersunk, but rather protrude from the seats. There are also some scratches on the bench feet, etc. Then there's a tripod with a bone on it. After some research into Howieker stories, I learned that this is the "Howieker Inhanger," a ham bone that the villagers used to share to make their soup richer. In general, I've noticed that in their old stories (you can find them by Googling), the Howiekers tend to fall under the category of "the family tree is a circle... no, more like a Möbius strip." One positive thing about the rest area is definitely the trash can. Anyone who's walked the Howieker Mill Loop with a dog might have noticed that things have been pretty bad with trash cans up to this point.
