The Saarburg is the ruin of a hilltop castle on a southern mountain spur of 206.5 m above sea level. NHN [1] high Schloßberg above the city of Saarburg in the district of Trier-Saarburg in Rhineland-Palatinate. It is one of the oldest hilltop castles in western Germany.
