Mariazell Vineyard on Lake Sempach

Weinbau Mariazell is the only Central Swiss winery to win two gold medals at this year's 13th Grand Prix du Vins Suisse and has been nominated for the final in Bern for the fourth time.
The Grand Prix du Vin Suisse is the most important wine award in Switzerland and the largest event worldwide at which Swiss wines are tasted. 545 wineries from 21 wine cantons accepted the invitation of the organizers, the VINEA association and VINUM magazine, this year. At the 13th edition of the Grand Prix du Vins Suisse from June 24 to 29, 3,259 wines competed against each other, including wines from Weinbau Mariazell from Sursee.
The wine from pure fungus-resistant vines (PIWI) is expanding our range this spring. The new varieties enable sustainable, environmentally friendly production. The rich assemblage is made from Solaris and Johanniter and is a real pleasure to drink.
