At first glance, the Burgplatz Mansingen looks like a small forest. Its history is only revealed at second glance: a larger and several smaller mounds form the foundations of the medieval Mansingen Castle, a motte with a main and outer bailey, separated by a moat. Ceramics from the 12th century were found during excavations. Today the area is a protected landscape area. An ecumenical Freialter from 2013 is artistically designed.

An old former castle hill along the side of the road. Unfortunately, there's nothing left to see there apart from the once again very informative map with lots of details.
