On steep stairs over stones and root system it goes about 400m steeply up the slope along the Ysper. An impressive natural spectacle and certainly in every season fantastically beautiful.

If a gorge deserves the description "wild romantic", then this one. There are always small lifts such as stone steps, wooden stairs and small bridges. Open all year, admission free.

The NEW Ysperklamm - but not only the entrance area has been renovated, but also hiking trails, stairs and footbridges it is now safer to commit, beautiful are the water courses and their falls - if it is hot outside, the gorge is highly recommended.
Then you can stop by at the state exhibition 2017 in Pöggstall.

Take a seat and see where the goblin is.

The lifts were completely renewed in 2017 and it was also built a viewing plateau with great views of the Yspertal (this is the "easy descent"). For this you have to pay from now EUR 3.50 admission.

A hike through the gorge is a wonderful balance to the often hectic everyday life. The noise and splashing of the water takes up a lot of energy.
