Hiking
Lignite was mined in the Weckesheim, Dorn-Assenheim and Reichelsheim area from 1942 to 1962 in civil engineering and from 1983 to 1991 with opencast mines VI and VII.
The area of the lake covers about 70 hectares and is surrounded by a dense hedge belt.
Although swimming is not allowed, there are always some swimming sun worshipers here. This lake, with its all-encompassing hedge, is really beautifully situated.
