Rest Area with Giant Sequoia in Oderwald

Beautiful deciduous forest, except for this eye-catching tree, with many variable rounds. So the length of the hike can be made variable :)

yes, the conifers at this crossing are striking. Stands out from the rest of the vegetation.
And one of the few places to take a break, even if the bank has seen better days, the place has something, if only because of the mighty sequoia at the crossroads

Today (November 28th, 2020) I met an older man. He hung Christmas baubles on this tree and was able to tell me that it was a sequoia tree that he planted himself. There are still several specimens in the forest area, but some of them off the paths. My research based on the photos has shown that it is a giant sequoia tree.
