Rheinorange is the name of a sculpture erected in 1992 in Duisburg-Kasslerfeld at the confluence of the Ruhr and Rhine at Rheinkilometer 780. It was made of steel by the Cologne sculptor Lutz Fritsch and is a landmark. The estuary, the largest inland port in Europe, the city of Duisburg as an important location for the steel industry, for technology and as the location of the Lehmbruck Museum as an important museum for modern sculpture in Europe should link all aspects of Duisburg's economic and cultural life.

The sculpture is 25 meters high, seven meters wide, one meter deep and weighs 83 tons. The production costs amounted to over 400,000 DM, which was donated by companies on the initiative of the business juniors of the IHK Niederrhein. The name Rheinorange is a play on words. The bright color is RAL 2004, called pure orange.

The sculpture is part of the Industrial Heritage Route. The 230 km long Ruhr Valley Cycle Path and the "Tortour de Ruhr", Germany's longest ultramarathon, end at the sculpture.

A landmark at the mouth of the Ruhr where probably with the most famous rivers in Germany, meeting one another, one has the view of Ruhrort and is located simultaneously in the Ruhr area and the Lower Rhine.

Here, 2 of the most famous rivers in Germany unite completely unspectacular with each other. The peace flows comfortably in the Rhine. Only the Rheinorange as a landmark shows a little on this point.
