In the back left corner there is a barn where you can find shelter with your bike in the rain.

The historic forest smithy in Wietze has seen better days. The remote area south of Wieckenberg used to be a meeting point for cyclists, scouts and hikers who could find out about iron mining here. After there was a lot of vandalism, monetary investments were severely reduced. However, it is possible to use the area by arrangement and then a dixi toilet is also available!
