The impressive Wasserberg Castle is located in the small village of Ingering II in the Gaalbach valley. The oldest parts of the complex were built in the 13th century and at the end of the 19th century there was a noble hotel and spa here. Wasserberg Castle has been owned by Heiligenkreuz Abbey since 1950. The large inner courtyard with the striking corner tower (the only remaining one of the four towers) was renovated in 2013.

The imposing Schloss Wasserberg with its oldest parts dates back to the 13th century; at the end of the 19th century there was a noble hotel with a health resort here. Wasserberg Castle has been owned by Heiligenkreuz Abbey since 1950. Around 1275 a castle was built by the diocese of Seckau. Episcopal servants held the burgrave office for over 600 years. In the 15th century the castle was expanded. A second floor was added.
Today the castle is used as a company and administration building, and large parts of it are also rented out.
