Stoffelberg Summit

The 1067 meter high Stoffelberg is a simple hiking mountain in the Alpine foothills. From Niedersonthofen he can be reached in an hour, from the hamlet of Stoffels in half. In Niedersonfhofen the path starts at the church, from there only a curve along the road, then on the meadow after Stoffels. The Stoffelbergrundweg goes from Stoffels over the summit to Rieggis and again to Stoffels. The piece between the summit and Rieggis is a beautiful forest path. For Stoffelbergrundweg you need a good hour, best starting point, just to go to this is the 900 meters Berghof Alpenblick at Stoffels. Ascent from Niedersonthofen and Rundweg together need a good 2 hours without stopping. Who wants to make a major tour, comes in about two hours to Hauchenberg.
The Stoffelberg can be walked on almost all year round.

On the Stoffelberg summit sits a summit cross and a bank offers a rest stop with a magnificent view over the surrounding treetops to the Allgäu.
